Dear Friend,
Most people worldwide have experienced difficulty over the past two years. The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to think of others before ourselves and consider the needs of our suffering sisters and brothers. Pope Francis urged us to work together as One Humanity rather than leading divided, self-cantered lives. Many good people (of all faiths) assisted us Jesuits in providing various forms of aid: medical supplies, food rations, educational subsidies, extra lessons when students couldn't access online classes, recuperation homes for patients, transportation for migrants to return home, etc.
St Francis Xavier, who was canonized exactly 400 years ago in 1622, continues to inspire us to do what we can. In the state of Goa, as well as in the districts of Belagavi, Ratnagiri, and Kolhapur, we have excellent collaborators, supporters, and alumni who work with us Jesuits of the Goa Province. Will you join us?
